In today's world of overwhelmed reviews, it becomes very hard to find relatable points especially if you are a user (of both brands), let alone the rarity when I relate to almost every points.
Thanks for the honest review. I am a Nikon shooter but, have been looking at this camera for an every day carry. I want something smaller and lighter that still allows me to be creative and document moments. My biggest worry is the fixed lens….I know that in order to have that smaller and lighter camera this is something I will have to get past. I have thought about trying to rent this camera for a few weeks but, haven’t found someplace close that is affordable to do that.
I had an X100V, liked it but didn’t love it, then when all the Fuji hype took off I sold it and made a profit. The strange thing is after a while I missed the pictures I had been making with it. Fast forward to the X100XI coming out. I managed to pick up a very low shot, <600, for less than retail. Maybe it’s my imagination but something feels different about this model. It seems more responsive, more snappy. Pun not intended. And of course looks amazingly cool and sexy. Suffice to say I will be keeping this one.
There is a difference but it'll depend on what you capture. The biggest differentiator is going to be the optics. There's some glass on FF solutions that deliver a look that APSC can't quite match. But again, it depends on what you're photographing.
Great review, going to pass this along to my friend who is trying to get their first Fuji. You would hope that since they changed where the camera is made that they'd be able to meet demand.
I really really really hope the supply issue is fixed soon. I’ve gotten a craving for this camera lately, and was waiting for your review to decide if it was worth it or not, and even though the battery life situation seems like a PITA, I’m sure I’d be able to manage hahahah.
With the right recipe, they are just awesome. That being said, don't be jealous. Work on the craft and you can close the gap on most of these imaging tools. Thanks for reading.
Thanks for the in-depth review. I mostly shoot on film but when I learned about this Fujifilm digital I put myself on the list. Needless to say, I’m still waiting., many months later. Maybe I’ll get it some day.
Great honest review as usual.

Thank you.

Great and detailed review! Fuji aside, how are you liking the Wotancraft bag :)? They seem perfect for a small carry!
After having a custom bag made for me by Decrypto, I've moved on from Wotancraft. Thanks for reading ✌🏾
This is one of the most comprehensible reviews I’ve ever seen👌🥂

How much of a difference is it to jump from an APSC Fujifilm sensor to a recent FF or MF one?

Cheers Gajan, great review as always brother :)
I think so too. Carrying 1-2 extra batteries won't be an issue for many users. It's just a shame that's the case. Thanks for reading!
