Only 6mm of variance between your M and Q3, it doesnt seem like a whole lot of variation there. Do these 'off the beaten path assignments' ever have you wondering if you should replace the Osmo Pocket for an Action camera?

I am on the fence on the Osmo Pocket 3 for a vlog camera, im told it is not very rugged.

P.S. what is your towel option? The most important travel item!

It’s the Q3 43 with the 43mm lens, bigger gap. And I’m on the fence about an action cam. The Osmo is more for voice over work when needed mic, or interviews. So it’s not being thrown around and the integrated stabilization works wonders.

Thanks for reading ✌🏾

Me packing for a photo trip, “just take everything” even though I know I won’t use 90% of it. This is based on bitter experience. If I don’t take it all, guaranteed to need something I don’t have. Signed, a very poor planner.

Save your time reading and picking and just “declare me the winner! Plus, I’m 79 years old so I’m short on time!😊👍

Nice kit. I'm very surprised that all fit in the 7L. That would be a squeeze for my 10L Pilot. Clearly you know how to pack those bags more efficiently than I do!

Content idea: Compare the 90mm Summilux with the 75mm Noctilux. The Gajan perspective would be good to hear.

Would be an interesting comparison, I just don’t see myself having the time to explore that story in 2026. Thanks for reading ✌🏾

Nice. I'm heading to SE Asia in a few months for 6 weeks and expect to pack even a bit lighter...21,35, and 50 plus my Q2 as a backup. I love that, even on a pro assignment, you know what you need and pack light.
