Thank you for this straightforward, no nonsense guide. Totally made me rethink user profiles. Previously I only kept one profile (my settings) so if anyone else used the camera, I could quickly get back to my default. But I will be trying different video profiles for different frame rates now, great idea.

My pleasure. And just look at the environments you capture in. Even having 2-3 options can make for an easier starting point to just get into the work.

Great job, Gajan. Question: does this FW update fix the magnification issues when using M lenses. I added back an SL2 as that EVF really does a better job. It's the same EVF so it remains one of life's great mysteries.

Unfortunately that hasn't been addressed yet. From what I understand, it's a more involved fix required. I'm hoping it gets resolved sooner rather than later.

Amazing breakdown of the function mapping logic here. The way building user profiles around specific environments (studio vs bright vs street) creates an actual workflow rather than just randomly assignign buttons has been a game changer for me too. I've beenrunning a similar setup on my SL2-S and the autopilot muscle memory is real once everythings dialed in.

Thank you. It's incredible how much these tools can be tuned for our creativity.

One of the best: thoughtful and thorough guides I’ve seen. While I don’t have SL systems, wondering g if this can be applied for Q3 43 system. Need to try…thank you for the guide

Thank you. A decent amount can be applied but more than anything, it's the theory that translates really well. Hope this helps ✌🏾
