I am left wondering what would happen if I left the online world for a week and focused on getting to know the cameras I already own, at best just pick one! What this article shows me is possibility. Great article, Gajan! Appreciate your thoughts around this camera. I used the M EV1 for about a month when it first came out and enjoyed it but ultimately opted to use an SL3-S and eventually upgrading to an SL3-P to extent my use of M lenses beyond my M11-P and MP rangefinder cameras. The SL3-P just presented a better value both in price comparatively to the M EV1 and also in feature set, also having access to autofocus lenses although I predominantly use my SL with M glass right now. To me the SL series camera offers more of what the M EV1 offers with the exception of size and weight advantages that the M EV1 still has the advantage on, which I think again further aligns with your assessment that this camera really is a niche camera within the Leica community.
